Obviously Quik and Kurupt have proven their longevity by now. Blaqkout however shows Quik shining through with dense west coast funk and a few odd surprises. We're getting to a point in Rap music where it's originators are reaching that contemplative phase of adulthood which allows for a more natural growth. And after that Fixxers debacle Quik seems content doing what he wants and releasing it on his own accord.
